Spire membership is free, and there’s no added cost to make a Spire booking. When you make a reservation, you pay only the amounts charged by the hotel for your room and amenities, plus any applicable taxes or hotel charges. The biggest difference is that the discounts, although compelling, might not be as steep. We guarantee that Spire Flash Sales offer at least 20% savings off the lowest rate you’ll find anywhere else. By comparison, Spire Everyday Deals typically offer savings up to 20% off regular rates; many also include exclusive Spire Perks. Spire Flash Sales are eligible for Spire credit redemption, while Spire Everyday Deals are not. We’re able to feature dozens of Spire Everyday Deals at any given time, so you’ll find a wider selection of locations and travel dates.

Spire's Best Deal Guarantee works a bit differently for Spire Everyday Deals and Spire Flash Sales. Below describes how it applies for each:

Spire Everyday Deals: Our Best Deal Guarantee is simple. It promises the lowest price on hotels you book through Spire Everyday Deals. If you happen to find a Qualifying Deal that is lower than the one you booked through Spire, we’ll refund the difference between the price you paid and the Qualifying Deal that you found.

Spire Flash Sales: Spire’s Best Deal Guarantee doesn’t just promise the lowest price, it backs our pledge to deliver flash sales that are at least 20% off the lowest comparable offer found anywhere else. If you book a flash sale with Spire then find a Qualifying Deal that debunks our promise to deliver 20% off, we’ll add $100 in credit to your Spire account to be used on a future booking and will refund the difference if you happen to find a lower price.

For example, say you book a flash sale on Spire for $100 per night then you find the same offer on another site for $110 per night. Even though our deal is better, it’s not 30% off as we’ve promised, so we’ll give you a $100 credit to use later.

Note: A Qualifying Deal is an identical offer found on another U.S.-based Web site that is lower than the same offer on Spire or, for flash sales only, that is not 20% higher. The Qualifying Deal must satisfy the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, as determined by Spire in its sole discretion.

We’re confident that the rates you find on Spire will be better than deals you will find elsewhere, and we back up that confidence with the Spire Best Deal Guarantee. Occasionally, a hotel requires a 100% nonrefundable deposit at the time of booking in order to receive promotional rates or other special offers. These exceptions will be clearly marked on the Spire site.

Unfortunately, we do not have access to reservations booked through other travel companies, directly with hotels, or through other means outside of Spire. Our luxury travel specialists would be pleased to assist you in making a substitute reservation, of course. However, you will need to cancel the original reservation using the original method or site.

Unlike limited-time deals on other travel sites, Spire lets you change or cancel your plans within 72-hours after booking and at least 72 hours prior to check-in. There is a $29 cancellation fee per booking.
