EXPERT CONNECT: Rent an Ultra Sleek Spa-Chalet in Verbier

The concept of these chalets was developed by Andy Turner and Patrick Polli, who wanted to give guests an opportunity to indulge in their own chalets in Verbier. The larger of this new group's two chalets thus far is a James Bond meets stylized, and bumps into cozy. It's a WOW.

While many elements are a bit "Bachelor" for my personal taste, I know this will appeal to many potential guests. In the space of 3890 square feet, there are 5 en-suite  bedrooms, including one room with a connecting door to another (ideal for young children), a see-through glass encased fireplace and from the master bed, one views the alps! My favorite elements: Glass walled techno-gym looks onto the indoor lap pool which looks out over the mountains and town below. Stunning. Why work-out inside though, when there is a rowing machine and stationary bike outside in a sunny spot on the huge terrace, which wraps around to a large long table, heat-lamps and outdoor grill. Hard to beat for a fab dinner party under the stars.  The owner likes TV—throughout are mirrored panels that double as televisions/ dvd players. The upper deck sunken hot-tub is a treat and the movie den a cozy respite.  I'm fond of open plan living room to kitchen in this setting, where guests can interact with the chef, if so desired. Somewhat uniquely, the staff are live-in: 1 chef and  2 hosts. 24 hour services are available with a smile—from being driven to running errands to arranging ski guides.
